  • The Federation of Association of Apartment Owners (FedAOA) has been formed in accordance with Chapter-6, Section-48 of Model Bye-laws -2011 is the representative body for all Association of Apartment Owners (AOA) constituted and operating under U.P. Apartment Act – 2010, U.P Apartment Rules - 2011 in Ghaziabad (U.P.). The registration certificate No. 486/14 for Federation of Association of Apartment Owners (FedAOA), Ghaziabad has been registered by the office of the Deputy Registrar, Chit, Fund & Societies Meerut in compliance   of Contempt Application (civil) No.-3958 of 2014 by Allahabad High Court for registration of Apartment owner association under U.P Apartment Act - 2010. The U.P. Government has made it mandatory for all AOAs and RWAs of a district to become member of the FedAOA, of the district under section 48 of the model bye-laws which states that “Affiliation – The Association shall become a member of a federation of the Associations of Apartment Owners and shall pay the subscription to it from time to time and shall also follow the instructions and directions issued by such federation.” FedAOA, Ghaziabad is the nodal body to assist the Government Authorities to implement the provision of U.P. Apartment Act 2010/Rules 2011/Model Bye-laws-2011 in all buildings having more than 3 apartments as per the Allahabad High Court landmark judgment for the effective implementation of U.P. Apartment Act, 2010 / Rules 2011 dated 14.11.2013 in ( Designarch Infra V/s V.C. GDA ) under CMWP 33826/2012.
  • Objectives of Fed AOA :


    The broad objectives of the Federation are:

    1. To organize regular workshops on U.P. Apartment Act 2010: 2. To Guide member AOAs to implement the U.P. Apartment Act 2010 in their society for formation, adoption of model bye-laws and registration. 3. Help member AOAs for raising and resolution of  disputes with builders and GDA within framework of U.P. Apartment Act 2010 & 2011 for  Completion Certificate (CC) &  submission of Deed of Declaration (DOD). 4. Provide guidance & assistance to member AOAs for handover/transfer of common areas & facilities and its maintenance from promoter/Builder/Developer to AOA, as the case may be.
